Armelle
Bouret Is a french photographer, living in Paris
After
graduating from the Gobelins, she worked as a still photographer and reporter
in Bollywood, India. Later, she
worked as an assistant for international photographers specializing in
portraits and fashion photography.
Since then
she has been working as a freelance photographer for designers and magazines
and enlarging her sphere of creation through several exhibitions and artist
residencies. Her last experiment
was at the Office for contemporary art, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 2013.
Interested
in the inner turmoil of femininity, she's also deeply obsessed with the link we
entertain with Nature and Animals.
This theme of Animality imperatively shaped her work.
Just like a
tree, feeling like a hyphen, wondering how to connect with the world we live
in.
